Hi, I like the graphic design of your entry, yet I wanted to suggest you to include some randomization mechanism.

The theme is strong enough to build the story, however I believe it would be more interesting if the players had some forced agenda or decision process, ‘cause now it’s just make-believe/improvisation excercise.

I believe you could come up with more ellegant idea, but here are my two cents that bring something to think about:

You are politicians of the YUESAY.
A CRISIS has occured! Elaborate.

Your donors [⚅] only pay you if you fulfill their interests.

  Decide by yourself (d6 - 1) /
 .---------------------------'
/ Obey (roll → reset to previous value):

 1. fix it
2-3. let it happen
4-6. worsen it

Survive upon elections.

If I am not mistaken, that’s 48 words (symbols) without title. The initial idea is preserved, however the mechanic pushes the player to choose between their own agenda or staying on the payroll. As I think about it, this mirrors nicely the behavior of the politicians that are more and more desperate as their income tightens.

Overall, great entry idea for the jam :)

Thank you for the kind words!

While I appreciate that you enjoyed it enough to share ideas for mechanics, and that you took the time to show how those might still fit within the jam's wordcount, I intentionally made this as a minimalist improv exercise. I quite enjoy storygames, and a fair number of my RPGs are designed in a similar manner.
